Correcting Common Fit Issues - Darted Tops, Jackets, and Dresses

The key to a sewing a great garment is a great fitting pattern! In  this hands-on class you will learn how to diagnose pattern fit issues –  and how to correct them for a fit that feels fabulous to wear.

We’ll  start with learning how to choose the right pattern size, and then go  step-by-step through the entire fitting process. You will practice  altering darted patterns for all the most common fit issues – including  high round back, both bust increases and decreases, shoulder  adjustments, and round tummies. Best of all, in addition to your  hands-on pattern alteration samples, you will have a valuable reference  notebook of the alterations learned in class.

This is a hands-on  class and will be held like a real in-person class. Be prepared to work  along with Katrina. She will demonstrate techniques and then you have  the chance to work on the techniques in person.
