It's Alive! ...sort of
It's working but still some kinks to work out. Ah, but isn't that what challenges are for? To make life more interesting?
Tomorrow I'll be visiting the Kitsap County Clothing and Textile Advisors. The Clothing and Textile Advisors are a community volunteer group that is connected with Washington State University Extension. Kind of like Master Gardeners, only these are master sewers... in a sense.
They've asked me to come and speak about competitive (garment) sewing for adults. It's not just for kids! Should be a lot of fun and hopefully offer some ideas and inspiration for taking their sewing to the next level - or at least receiving some helpful feedback on their projects.
They're a great bunch - I used to attend their meetings when they first started, as I lived somewhat nearby. Looking forward to seeing them again and will use the opportunity to visit the Silverdale branch of Quality Sewing and Vacuum to discuss upcoming classes I'd like to offer.
